2017 Halloween Horror Writing Contest Graveyard

Boo! The ghosts, ghouls and goblins stuffed their ethereal maws full of caramel-chocolate. Yum. The 2017 SMM Halloween Horror Writing Contest inspired our spines to quake and shake—now it’s time to take a stroll through the graveyard…if you’re brave enough.

You’re still alive! You stepped on the zombie fingers poking through the grass, but don’t worry, they’ll rise from grave…next year, of course. Explore the graveyard: click some links. Read some stories. Don’t get eaten. Ignore the howls. Please.

Thanks to all the slashers and monsters!

Contest winners will be officially announced on November 2, 2017.

  3. May the best ghoul win. Between being a working stiff and coming back from vacation like the walking dead, I missed the deadline. Perhaps next year, I won’t be such a deadbeat and maybe even make a killing.
